On-site security measures for special facilities
Anti-ram posts and bollards
We assist with the selection, configuration and installation of anti-ram systems.
Automatic bollards / bollards that retract into the ground
You don’t need to be familiar with the full range of anti-ram bollards to choose a reliable partner for installation and fitting. That is why, before we propose a solution involving anti-ram barriers, we ask about factors that are crucial at the design stage: what is the angle of approach to the entrance, how many metres of run-up does the vehicle have, is the bollard intended merely to direct traffic or to stop a lorry, what is the expected number of cycles, and is there already a gate nearby with which it is to operate in conjunction?.
We work on systems RISE — Beninca Group: hydraulic, electromechanical, semi-automatic and fixed bollards, including certified anti-terrorism bollards MAXIMUM M30. On top of that, we provide what isn’t listed in the catalogue: the foundations, power supply, control system, integration with the gate and fencing, installation and servicing.

We help you choose the best solution
A few questions are all it takes to narrow the choice down to one, or sometimes two, models.
What is supposed to stop
Regulating traffic and parking is a completely different matter from stopping a speeding lorry. This answer determines whether we install M30-certified bollards or whether a standard solution will suffice.
How many cycles a day?
A gate that’s opened three times a day and a delivery gate with a hundred passages a week – as you can imagine, that means different requirements and different drive systems.
What’s underground?
The foundation pit for a Ø275 structure is deeper than most developers assume. We check the services, the groundwater level and whether a drainage pump is required before we order anything.
What is it supposed to work with?
A gate, a barrier, access control, traffic lights, induction loops, a remote control or a card. If bollards are fitted alongside a Rakstal gate, we integrate all of these into a single control system.
Three levels of protection
RISE’s full range comprises several dozen indices. In practice, the choice comes down to one of three levels — we’ll help you select the best solution.
Traffic management
Fixed and semi-automatic bollards: for marking out pedestrian zones, protecting shop fronts and securing parking spaces. Lowered manually or with a key; available with LED lighting.
Ø200 / Ø275 · H600 / H800 · painted steel or AISI 316
Daily entry checks
Automatic hydraulic and electromechanical bollards. Controlled by remote control, card or from the gatehouse; LED signal lights; automatic lowering in the event of a power cut.
SPARTACUS 200/275 · VIGILANT 800 · CAESAR 200 · 230 Vac / 24 Vdc
Counter-terrorism
Certified MAXIMUM M30 with the EFO option — emergency lift operation on signal. This solution is designed for critical infrastructure, not for an office block car park.
Ø275 · H900 · IWA 14-1 · PAS 68:2013 · ASTM F2656 P1
At every stage of production
We take care of the details
We believe that in the production of gates, it is the attention to detail quality that is the differentiator on which to build a company. We watch over the care of the joints, we take care of the quality of the zinc coating and the paint layer. We verify the suppliers of steel and aluminium and precisely select the parameters of automation.
What does the scope of services involved in the installation of anti-terrorism barriers entail?
Selection and design
Analysis of the entrance, selection of the model and number of posts, spacing, layout drawing and guidelines for the foundations.
Earthworks
Excavation, foundation pit, drainage.
Power supply and control
Control unit, FG16/FG10 cabling, DOMUS totem for the control unit and access control, traffic lights and audible signals.
Integration with the gateway
Integration with the existing control system for a sliding gate or barrier; shared induction loops.
Working in winter
Heaters that activate below 5°C are fitted as standard wherever the post is used outdoors all year round.
Servicing and inspections
Regular inspections of hydraulic systems and seals, emergency wrenches, rapid assistance in the event of a breakdown.

Where do we install anti-terrorism security measures?
Critical infrastructure facilities where the entrance is the weakest point in the perimeter security. We have carried out such projects for clients in Poland and across Europe. For security reasons, we are unable to display photographs of projects carried out at secure sites on our website.
Data centre
Colocation and hyperscale campuses — delivery access points, vehicle airlocks, tenant security audit requirements.
Power stations
Thermal, gas and nuclear power. Gates within the perimeter fence of the secure area, with full material specifications.
Airports
Landside–airside crossings, service entrances and cargo areas, with emergency access for emergency services.
NATO bases and military installations
Checkpoints and main entrances, PA 68:2013 specifications, access procedures during installation.
Embassies and government buildings
Gates in urban areas, where both the durability rating and the appearance of the fencing are important.
Water supply systems and critical infrastructure
Water intake points, pumping stations, telecommunications hubs — facilities without permanent staff, controlled remotely.
Anti-ram bollards — frequently asked questions
Certification from a full-scale crash test and a design that passes this test: a thicker wall, a larger diameter and a significantly more robust foundation box. The MAXIMUM M30 bollard stops a 7,200 kg vehicle travelling at 48 km/h with a penetration of 0.8 m. A standard automatic bollard will stop a passenger car at low speed and regulate traffic — and that is what it is designed to do.
Hydraulic systems (SPARTACUS, MAXIMUM) can withstand intensive operation and heavier loads; they require a 230 Vac power supply and periodic system inspections. Electromechanical systems (VIGILANT, CAESAR), operating at 24 Vdc, are simpler, cheaper to run and perform well with a moderate number of cycles. The deciding factors are the number of passages per day and the required protection class.
It depends on the configuration. AL versions are fitted with a GL.AL power supply unit, which automatically lowers the bollard in the event of a power cut — the entrance remains accessible to emergency services. In electromechanical versions, this function is performed by an AUTN or UPS module. Each bollard also has an emergency key release; in PLUS versions, this is personalised.
Yes, provided a heater is ordered. GL.HEAT (hydraulic) and RES (electromechanical) activate when the temperature falls below 5°C and maintain the system’s operating temperature. Under Polish conditions, we treat these as a mandatory component for external posts, not as an option.
The foundation box is deeper than the post itself — for Ø275 H900 this is nearly 1.5 m below ground level, and for Ø200 H600 it is correspondingly shallower. We provide the dimensions with the drawing before work commences, together with information on drainage. This is usually the most important decision on site, as it involves potential interference with underground utilities.
Yes. We connect the posts to the existing gate or barrier control system, regardless of who supplied it. If there is no gate in place yet, we usually suggest designing both elements together — in which case a single induction loop and a single control system manage the entire entrance.
